Course Overview
Federal OSHA requires employers to provide training to employees whose work is regulated by the confined spaces in construction standard, including those who will serve as entry supervisors. This course teaches the core knowledge and duties required for the entry supervisor role.
An entry supervisor is the qualified person responsible for determining if acceptable entry conditions are present at a permit space where entry is planned, for authorizing entry and overseeing entry operations, and for terminating entry as required by the standard.

Your employer must designate each person who is to have an active role as an entry supervisor in entry operations and provide each such employee with the training required by § 1926.1207.
