Respiratory protection only works when your respirator fits properly. OSHA requires employers to fit test employees before initial use and at least annually thereafter. A poor fit allows contaminated air to leak in, reducing or eliminating protection.

Employee Education for the Fit Testing Process
OSHA requires employers to fit test employees before they use tight-fitting respirators and at least annually thereafter. This course teaches what testing involves, why it matters, how tests work, and how to prepare.
