Federal Construction Standard for Scaffold Safety
OSHA requires employees who perform work while on a scaffold to receive training from a person qualified in the subject matter. Training must address the hazards associated with the scaffold type and the procedures used to control or minimize those hazards.
This course provides scaffold-user knowledge training. It does not designate a competent person or qualified person, replace required inspections and supervision, or cover the separate training duties for scaffold erectors and dismantlers under 29 CFR 1926.454(b).
