The training every powered industrial truck operator has to have.
OSHA requires employers to train and certify every worker who operates a forklift or other powered industrial truck. This course delivers the formal instruction portion of that requirement, covering how these machines behave under load and what it takes to move product without putting people at risk.
You will work through truck classifications, stability and load capacity, pre-shift inspections, refueling and battery charging, pedestrian and dock hazards, and safe operating procedures on ramps, in aisles, and around blind corners. Finish the course and you can immediately download your certificate, a printable wallet card, and the operator evaluation form your employer needs for the hands-on portion.
Three steps to a certified operator.
OSHA splits operator certification into classroom instruction, hands-on training, and a practical evaluation. This course handles the first step and gives you the paperwork for the rest.
Complete this online course at your own pace. You can instantly download a certificate of completion for your employer and print a wallet-sized operator card.
Your employer provides equipment demonstrations and practical exercises so you become familiar with the specific trucks and hazards at your jobsite.
Download the Powered Industrial Truck Operator Evaluation Form at the end of the course. Once you pass the behind-the-wheel evaluation and both signatures are on the form, you are a certified operator.
If you operate a truck or supervise someone who does, start here.
Operators must be at least 18 years old. Supervisors, safety coordinators, and anyone who shares a floor with lift trucks benefit from the same hazard awareness the operators get.
One training program. Nationwide compliance.
Certification is valid for three years, and OSHA requires refresher training sooner if an operator is involved in an accident or near miss, receives an unfavorable evaluation, or is assigned a different type of truck. Our course is maintained against the current powered industrial truck standard so your records hold up.
Trusted by the people doing the work.

"We put eleven new hires through this before they touched a truck. The stability triangle section is the clearest one I've seen."
"Covers every truck class we run, so I don't have to buy separate training for the reach trucks and the sit-downs."
"The load capacity and center of gravity material actually stuck with our crew. Fewer near misses on the dock since."
"Straightforward, no fluff, and it saved me a full day off the floor for a classroom session."
"Documentation is clean and dated, which is exactly what we needed for our recordkeeping binder."
"Refresher was quick and the wallet card is handy when a site asks for proof at the gate."
"Knocked it out on a slow shift and had the certificate printed before I clocked out. Our evaluation form was ready the same day."
